Rajesh Angral is a dedicated community leader, media, arts, and technology entrepreneur based in Calgary. With a passion for innovation and collaboration, he has worked to strengthen community connections, promote cultural initiatives, and support local businesses. Business Leadership with Purpose
As President of the Punjabi Council of Commerce, Rajesh has helped uplift local businesses by connecting them with government leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations like the Better Business Bureau, fostering accountability and trust. He also founded the Canada-India International Expo, an international event that brought together hundreds of innovators and received support from civic and government leaders across Canada and India.

Community Service at the Heart of It All
Rajesh is deeply committed to community service. He co-founded the North Calgary Seniors Society to ensure seniors remain active and connected, and volunteers with youth programs at Vivo and The Hub. A proud hockey dad, he has supported his son’s journey with local teams including the Saints, Storm, and Raiders, and has volunteered at ICE hockey games.

He has organized and supported numerous community events, including Canada Day celebrations, Alberta Culture Fest, Vaisakhi Mela, Family Day gatherings, indoor cricket tournaments, and multicultural expos—bringing together families from diverse backgrounds including South Asian, Indigenous, Black, East Asian, and Caucasian communities.

Rajesh has also contributed to civic and cultural projects, including the Prairie Winds Park Public Art Project, promoting city services, and supporting events such as GlobalFest, Dragon Boat Races, Asian Heritage Foundation, Black Heritage Month, and multiple local fundraisers.
